Fat Talk?

That is a great video and speaks a lot of truth... but on that same note I do not believe our blog promotes "fat talk". I think there is a big difference between "fat talk" and unrealistic goals and the term healthy. Healthy means that you are happy in your own skin, your body is functioning as it should, and will not shut down on you in times of need. I think we have goals, healthy ones.

You are striving to run a marathon, which to run you have to train, eat properly, and be healthy. To get healthy sometimes it requires a loss of weight but that doesn't mean that getting healthy is "fat talk".

My goals are mainly fitness goals. I strive to get up more difficult climbing walls and get faster/go further with my bike in single spurts. Yes I do talk about weight loss only because of my ankle and the weight that it can bear having been previously broken. When the doctor told me I will have a permanent disability due to the weight that that ankle was being made to support I vowed to prove him wrong.

That is my two cents...
